Set by Gabor Nagy

This game requires two people to play. One player needs to create a game server, while the other should connect to the server. It is recommended that you have an IM session open with whoever you are trying to play.

Rules:

Twelve cards are laid out in front of the two players. The goal of the game is to identify sets of three cards faster than your opponent. Each card has four properties:

1. Color: Green, Purple, or Red
2. Shape: Rectangle, Oval, or Diamonds
3. Number: Each card has 1, 2, or 3 shapes
4. Shading: Solid, Empty, or Striped

For a valid set, each of these four properties must either be the same or all different.

Here are some examples of valid sets:

Color: different on all 3 cards
Shape: same on all 3 cards
Number: same on all 3 cards
Shading: same on all 3 cards

Color: different on all 3 cards
Shape: different on all 3 cards
Number: different on all 3 cards
Shading: same on all 3 cards

The computer makes sure that there is always a set within the 12 cards shown. The game ends when the winner ends up with 5 points. Players get a point for each corrently identified set, and lose a point when they incorrectly identify a set.
